Advances in observing solar dynamics to facilitate safe space exploration

This talk will present recent advances in observing the Sun using telescopes such as the Atacama Large Millimeter/Sub-millimeter Array (ALMA) and the Solar Orbiter, an ongoing mission led by the European Space Agency. Understanding and monitoring the dynamic processes in the solar atmosphere is essential for predicting eruptive solar events and the production of energetic particles, which is critical for ensuring the safety of future space missions, both for satellites and astronauts.
